The Eureka Union School District vision can be seen in action each day at Excelsior, where we strive to provide all of our students with a relevant and challenging education. Through our Challenge 21 initiative, we provide students with meaningful, authentic opportunities to learn and apply important 21st century skills across content areas each day in a dynamic and innovative environment where technology is an integral part of daily instruction and learning. The high degree of achievement and success demonstrated by our students is the result of a collaborative focus on rigorous standards, and strong relationships among students, families, and the Excelsior school staff. We welcome you to Excelsior and look forward to an outstanding 2016-2017 school year!
Parent conferences will be held on October 5th, 6th and 7th this year. Please sign up for a conference to discuss your child's progress at school. Conferences can be scheduled online between September 26th and October 3rd by clicking the link to the left. The password for parents is "eagles". After October 3rd, please contact your child's teacher directly.
You may have noticed that we will be holding conferences earlier this year. The 4th-6th grade schools in the district decided to pilot the use of intervention conferences this year. Intervention conferences are designed to allow us to meet earlier in the trimester so that we are able to provide information for students while there is still time for them to make changes (if needed) before the end of the marking period. Please plan to bring your student with you when you join us for their conference. The teachers are looking forward to meeting with you and your student!
